226 hydraulic pump internal keyway shape

I would like to purchase a internal keyway for my 226 hydraulic pump it looks to be half round with a flat side 1/8 dia 3/4 long

The pin #14071723 the keyway was destroyed when I bought this tractor not sure how to send pic

Dennis, are you refering to the key for the gear to the shaft? If so several pumps were used so it would make it easier if we had some info from the pump if possible or at least a couple of pics for the assembled outside of the pump so we can compare. I know several members may have replaced a worn or damaged pump and may have what you need laying around but a comparision would make it more likely. Also could you post the PIN of your tractor so we have a parts reference to match it to? :D

The lovejoy coupling on a 226 uses a 1/4" x 3/4" square key on the engine side.

On the pump side ... a few sizes were used, which you should be able to measure out with the hardware in hand:

1/8" x 3/4" (square)

or

3/16" x .609" or 5/8" (square).

Your note makes it sound like you have a flat bottom woodruff in hand, which I believe is incorrect for this application. All are listed in Ingersoll's documents as heat treated/high strength keys, so a plain carbon steel key might not make it in these applications.
