Ha ! I rather like the cable clamp method to attach the pin. Getting the pin in the best position is part of the battle and your method even gives the guy with a welder the ability to adjust it correctly and then weld it. Though, it does change the geometry a little, which could be good or bad with your overall method. Your in the "dumb luck" category too, aren't ya ? LOL ?

So far the foot control has been great. I use it both ways, with my foot on the lower pedal and under the lower pedal. Then sometimes I use the lower pedal for forward and the upper pedal for revers. Then when I am pulling into the garage behind my Corvette I use the hand control to avoid damage to the Corvette. Whit the amount of snow we have had the foot control works great with the blade when I want to lift the blade and push the snow up high. I can keep one hand on the steering wheel and raise the blade and move forward.
